We have a small back garden and beyond is an oak wood; we are currently having a make-over on the part I can see through the kitchen window. We pulled down the old rotten shed, leaving a base but behind that the land slopes up. Watch the photos as the garden develops.
September 1st
The soil is being moved to make way for new stone slabs ~ on which we shall sit in the evening with a drink of pimms, but in reality it will probably rain and I will simply enjoy looking at the slabs from the shelter of the kitchen!

Day 2 of the make-over. The colours don't show up well in this photo but they are sandstone ~ a pale sandy colour with waves of pink and green sometimes in the markings, strangely they show up better on a dull day because of the moisture in the air ~ oh well, at least thats a good reason for having a dull day!
